  • Animal Exploration for Pre-K-1st Graders

    Young zoologists will have the opportunity to make observations, ask questions and use their senses to discover a world filled with amazing creatures!  Through hands-on science activities we will explore the wonders of nature by comparing the different groups of animals, examining bones and feathers, discovering how animals survive in different habitats and investigating the ways that animals can move!  Every week we will practice being kind to our LIVE animal visitors including rabbits, chinchillas, chickens, lizards, turtles, frogs, crabs and other awesome animals!

  • Basketball 4th-5th Graders

    Students will have weekly Basketball class with Mr. B. The students will learn skills and drills and play games.

    The class meets Tuesday 3:15-4:15 for the Winter Term
  • Basketball for 1st-3rd Graders

    This class meets on Thursdays and teaches the kids drills and skills for the game. The kids will even play games amongst themselves.
    This class is Thursdays 3:15-4:15 PM for the Fall and Winter Term.
  • Bob Ross Painting Show for 2nd-5th Graders

    “All you need to paint is a few tools, a little instruction, and a vision in your mind.” ― Bob Ross. This one of a kind class combines art, acting, filmmaking, and editing for a fun hands-on time with CinemaKidz! The class begins with learning and practicing fun painting techniques with friends, using a variety of tempera and watercolor paints, various brushes, a tabletop wooden easel and several canvases.  Once kidz have some painting skills down, participants will move on to planning their tv persona and the concept of their very own painting and art show. Every student will receive a custom painting kit including a fun costume element which they will take home at the end of the course. Kids will film and edit their show(s), and explore both hands-on art as well as media and technology elements.
  • Cheerleading for 2nd-5th Graders

    Go TREVOR! Just your child love to dance, cheer and do gymnastics?!!! This class is for them! Give me a T.R.E.V.O.R! WHAT'S THAT SPELL? TREVOR!!!!
  • Chess: K-5th Graders

    Chess will meet Chess Master Mr. Goodman and learn the basics of chess. More advanced players will be challenged.
    The class meets Tuesdays and or Wednesdays from 3:30-430 for K-1st Grade and 4:30-5:30 2nd-5th Grade.
  • Chopped and Master Chefs: K-5th Graders

    Calling all Food Network Lovers! The kids will stir, mix and bake recipes each week in this fun class and bring their treat home, hopefully to share with their families.

    K-1st Grade meets: Fridays 3:30-4:30
    2nd-5th Grade meets: Tuesdays 3:30-4:30
  • Co-ed Soccer 1st-2nd Graders

    Our 1st and 2nd Graders will play games and learn drills in this fun and energetic class. The class meets Tuesdays 3:15-4:15.
  • Craft Market Art Class: 3's-1st Graders

    Students will create different pieces of art each week in this fun and engaging class. This class is offered on Tuesdays 3:30-4:30
  • Crazy 8's Math Club for K-2nd Graders

    Crazy 8s is an after-school math club like no other. 
    Unlike competitive clubs that appeal to a select few, our activities – like Glow-in-the-Dark Geometry and Beach Ball Party – can appeal to any kid. We’re making math club the cool thing to do!
  • Creative Theatre: K-1st Graders

    Calling all actors and performers of all kinds! This class is for you. The students will learn acting through storytelling, improv, song and movement. The students will perform a show at the end of each term. This group meets on Mondays from 3:00-4:00.
  • Drama Dragons: 2nd-5th Grade

    Students will take an acting class on Thursdays from 3:30-4:30. Students will play acting games, memorize lines, learn all about character and put on a show at the end of the term.
  • Empire Baseball: K-5th Grade

    This class will meet in the Spring on Thursdays from 3:15-5pm. Students will play against each other weekly in Central Park.
  • Fashion and Jewelry Design: 2nd-5th Graders

    Join Ms. McCloskey on Thursdays for the Winter Term in her very popular Fashion and Jewelry class. At the end of the trimester the students will have a Fashion and Bake sale and donate their funds to a Charity!
  • Flamenco Dance for 2nd-5th Graders

    Join our professional Flemenco teacher Paloma and learn the skills to dance this fun latin dance!
  • Fun Fitness 3's-1st Graders

    This class will get your kids moving and grooving. They will dance and workout and have fun all at the same time.

  • Gymnastics K-5th Grade: Fall

    This class will meet on Wednesdays in the Fall for K-5th Graders:
    The class is adjusted to the skill level of the students.
    The K-1st Graders will meet from 3:30-4:30 and the 2nd-5th Graders will meet from 4:30-5:30.
  • Hip-Hop: Pre-K-5th Graders (Pre-K-1st, 2nd-5th)

    In this fun class, the students will learn the basics of Hip-Hop and they will create a dance routine.
    This class is on Wednesdays for 2nd-5th grade and Thursdays for Pre-K-1st Grade at 3:30.
  • Lego 1st League Robotics: 2nd-4th Graders: Fridays

    Ms. Anderson will be teaching 2nd-4th graders Lego Robotics on Fridays from 3:15-4:15.

  • Lego Spike Prime Robotics & Coding for 4th and 5th Graders

    In this class students will build different robotics models with lego and code them to move, jump, and record. This is a class for LEGO enthusiasts and budding coders.
  • Mad Science: 2nd-5th Graders

    Calling all Mad Scientists! This hands on science class will create static electricity everywhere. Sign up fast, this class always has a waitlist!

    The class is Mondays 3:30-4:30
  • Magic: 2nd-5th Graders

    Calling all magicians! In this class students will learn different magic tricks and work on mastering their skills on specific tricks. Students will then perform a magic show at the end of the trimester for their families.
  • Makerspace for 4th and 5th Graders

    Join Ms. Anderson in this creative class where the students will use different materials in the Makerspace class to create their own projects.
  • Martial Arts: Pre-K-12th Graders

    Students will study with Howard Latting of WMA Karate. Each of our students enter the program with a desire to learn, enjoy robust physical activity and participate as a team. This program is based on Korean Art and Modern Teachings.

    Mondays: In-Person

    Pre-K-1st Grade at 3:30
    2nd-5th Grade at 4:30
  • Minecraft for Superheros: K-1st Graders

    The Minecraft world is in danger! In this class, students will learn coding fundamentals and use them to create powerful superheroes with special abilities. Each class creates a new opportunity for our coders to save the Minecraft world against a new danger! From traveling to a ruined city and exploring a frozen bunker to saving the White House and more! Students will have an amazing time putting their coding skills to the test!
    Projects include: Anvil Rain using commands and loops, Programmable Robot Bodyguard with selector variables, Gladiator using position variables and fill commands.
    Prior coding or Minecraft experience not required.
  • Mixed Sports with Mr. B for 4th-5th Graders

    Our coach will take the kids out to Central Park weekly for a variety of sports.
    This class is Tuesdays 3:15-4:15 Fall
  • Multi-Sports: 2nd-5th Graders

    If you want your child to run around and get all sweaty, this class is for you! The students will play a variety of sports and relay races in Central Park or use our Gym on inclement weather days.

    Does your child love to sing and dance? Come join this fun and creative class where your child's creativity can shine!
  • Parkour in Central Park: 1st-5th Graders

    PARKOUR / PARK CHALLENGE
    Joel's Kids Action Sports coaches mix conditioning, gymnastics, balance, team work, confidence building and fun. Either indoors or out, we create a manageable obstacle course for the kids to conquer. Positive thinking and success are guaranteed.

  • Puppetry Skits for K-1st Graders

    This course is all about creative building, storytelling, and working together to make a TV Show!   Over this hands-on course, children will build several types of puppets, and utilize film technology to bring their characters to life in a series of fun short skits.  Think projects like The Dark Crystal to Sesame Street!  Kidz explore different puppetry styles, creating several exciting puppets of their own, and learn to bring their character to life with basic puppet manipulation, voice acting, and interactive storytelling! Kidz will learn how important working together is when they help one another create scenes.  Kidz work together to manipulate the movements of their puppet, while others film and act out the scene using their voice, as well as act in the skits themselves.  Participants will experiment with various creative techniques to film these
  • Rollerblading and Skateboarding with Joel's Kids on Wheels: 1st-5th Grade

    Join Joel’s experienced, kid-friendly coaches for a fantastic season of inline skating and skateboarding. These are great classes for the young athlete to learn—not just one, but two― skating disciplines. Those who just want to learn one technique can do so.

    Inline skating: Every week, coaches will teach a new skating skill—from basic balance, stopping, turns, skating backwards, and more. Whenever the weather is suitable, students will have terrific fun on wheels in Central Park. This class is open to all skill levels of skaters.

    Skateboarding: Whether you already know how to do an “Ollie” or want to get started with skateboarding, this program is for you. Learn and enjoy the basics through advanced moves on a skateboard. From push-offs to “fakies,” this safe program will thrill students.



    Class is Wednesdays 3-5pm.
  • Running Club for 2nd-5th Graders

    Join Ms. McCloskey for outdoor running, relay races and games in Central Park!
  • Soccer on Mondays for Pre-K-K Graders

    Calling Soccer Stars!!! This class will teach the basics of Soccer and the kids will learn drills and play simple games. The class meets on Mondays at 3:15-4:15.
  • Soccer: 3rd-5th Graders

    Students will meet weekly in this fun and energetic class. They will learn skills and drills and play games.

  • Splat Lab: Pre-K-1st Grade

    Splat Lab is an enrichment class that was created for the sole purpose of having fun! Through STEAM inspired activities, kids problem solve, explore and feel a sense of belonging in the group.Kids will have fun creating and creating a mess in this class from making volcanos, slime, and different art project!
  • The Wizards of Trevor Day: 2nd-5th Grade

    Calling all Wizard fans! Come and explore this class and create different projects and experiments to show the magic of the world.
  • Volleyball 3rd-5th Graders

    Students in 3rd-5th Grade will meet weekly withe Mr. R and learn drills and skills for Volleyball and they will even play games amongst themselves.

    This class meets Mondays from 3-4pm.
  • Wonderful Weaving Art Class for Pre-K-1st Graders

    Join Ms. Bermjo-Vaz in this creative weaving afterschool art class!
